The Bajaj Housing Finance IPO, As you know is a very hot topic in Dalal Street due to its stellar listing gains on September 16, 2024. Pre-listing is also a popular topic due to its high Grey Market Price (GMP). It is listed on NSE and BSE with Rs 150 against its issue price of 70 which is almost a 115% gain. But after that, it went Rs 165 hitting its Upper circuit which was set at 10% on Listing Day itself, and Rs 181.5 with again 10% Upper circuit on the Second Day of Listing.

If we compare the issue price of Rs 70 with the latest market price of Rs 181.5, then it is almost a 160% gain and if it continues the same way then within 2 days it will cross the Rs.200 Mark with a 185 % gain and per lot Rs 27820 Gain.

Looking at Bajaj Housing’s finance IPO stellar Debut, it got its first Brokerage initiation report from Philip Capital. Brokerage has given a Buy Call and said that it has more steam left on the upside and can witness a decent Upside. Many brokerages are bullish on the counter with a long-term view. However, some of the brokers have asked to book at least partial profit. And For short-term traders are asked to remain cautious on the new entries.

Bajaj Housing Finance Ltd. (BHFL) is a Housing Finance Company registered with the National Housing Bank (NHB). It is a subsidiary of Bajaj Finance Ltd. (BFL). BHFL’s Performance Highlights, FY2024

• Assets under management (AUM) ie increased by 32% to C 91,370 crore.

• Total income increased by 34% to C 7,618 crore.

• Net total income (NTI) Grew by 19% to C 2,925 crore.

• Opex to NTI decreased from 25.7% in FY2023 to 24.0% in FY2024.

 • Pre-impairment operating profit grew by 22% to C 2,222 crore.

 • Impairment on financial instruments was C 61 crore Vs C 124 crore in FY2023.

• Profit before tax (PBT) grew by 27% to C 2,161 crore.

• Profit after tax (PAT) grew by 38% to C 1,731 crore.

 • Capital adequacy ratio as of 31 March 2024 was 21.28%, very well and above the regulatory norms.
